Experimenting with watercolor additions to the blocks. Here I've used Box 5 and two Box 3's, plus uncolored tiles. (I LOVE these newly-available pieces!) Felt trees made sturdy with Stiffy glue. I also sewed millinery wire to the backs (because I had some extra), but I think they'd stand up without it. Trees are wedged into floral frogs.

"What's the use of phoning? They'll just say it's swamp gas," said my spouse. But I was already headed indoors to the ham radio. I'd missed my opportunities enough in life as it was, I thought. Whoever was riding this firework, I was going to be a part of the story, no matter what it took.
